Our two-bed apartment/cottage was very well-designed, with plenty of space and a pleasant balcony to sit on while relaxing outside. The beds were very comfortable, the showers unusually powerful, air con very efficient and everything was spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the advance delivery of shopping so we had a snack waiting for us when we arrived late at night. A late check out too made a great deal of difference. We strongly recommend Paleopetres for anyone looking for self-catering accommodation in NE Corfu.

Comfortable villa with great views, in a charming Corfu location, overlooking the lovely Kalami bay. We drove around north Corfu a bit and really couldn't find anywhere as charming as this area. The villa is part of a larger complex with a very large pool and a large patio area with fabulous views out to sea, within easy walking distance of Kalami beach, local shops and restaurants. The water is crystal clear so great for snorkelling. There are other lovely swimming bays and great restaurants nearby. The host is very helpful. The villa has 2 large balconies overlooking the swimming pool and Kalami bay. Good showers.

Die Unterkunft war neu renoviert und in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Räume sind individuell klimatisierbar und modern eingerichtet. Der Gemeinschaftspool ist ausreichend gross. In Summe eine tolle Location mit stets netten und freundlichen griechischen Gastgebern!

Charming Kalami house. We enjoyed staying in this recently refurbished two storey house set in a beautiful position overlooking Kalami bay. Clean and well-serviced. Lovely pool and garden. Very comfortable bedrooms. Kitchen well-equipped. Large balcony with comfortable chairs and large table... what a view! Lovely evenings spent looking across the bay with a glass of Ouzo before heading down to the tavernas on Kalami beach. Overall a most enjoyable holiday in a spectacular setting.

The villa is perfectly placed, on a peaceful hillside, with wonderful views out to sea, a great swimming pool and all just a short stroll from the bars and tavernas of Kalami. On arrival we enjoyed our welcome pack of regional goodies and essential items. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Property. This was our first time staying in this property and we couldn't fault it. The service from the very first communication was professional and friendly. When we arrived it exceeded our expectations. The view from the first floor is amazing, the finish is contemporary and clean and the beds are the most comfortable we have had on any villa holiday. There was a lovely welcome pack and good utensils for self catering. The pool area has plenty of sun beds and an amazing view of the bay. We would definitely recommend this property and will hopefully revisit one day soon.

Beautiful setting with wonderful views. This was our third holiday in Kalami. The two-bedroom villa with a shared pool was perfect for us. It offered total comfort and tranquillity and some of the best views of Kalami Bay we have experienced. The huge pool was fantastic for lazy days or a refreshing dip. Being able to walk down to the beach, tavernas and shops in minutes was a fantastic plus. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on our balcony watching the boats drift in and out of the bay. The villa had been newly refurbished and was tastefully decorated. We had a fantastic holiday and can't recommend the property highly enough. We can't wait to go back!

An exceptional place due to its beauty, its landscape, its superb swimming pool and the magnificent Kalami beach with small white pebbles and crystal clear waters. The view was beautiful and it was wonderfully quiet (early May). From your terrace, you see nothing but green, blue, and swallows. The beds were comfortable and everything else you need was there, from shampoo and soap to dishwashing liquid, all kitchen utensils, oil, salt and pepper, a stocked fridge upon arrival, and towels for the shower and pool. Air conditioning can cool and heat. The hostess and host are very helpful and friendly. It is a 5-minute walk to Kalami, where you have a good pebble beach with a few restaurants and shops, and you can take beautiful walks along the coast to lovely little bays.

A little gem. We were able to access the property easily and slightly earlier than arranged. Very thoughtful welcome pack on arrival. Pool and gardens are well kept and clean. Absolutely fabulous location and views. Beach, groceries and tavernas all within walking distance. The super friendly gardener will take rubbish for you so the off-site bins are really not a problem. Kalami bay is beautiful, with a good selection of tavernas with fun Greek music nights. Grocery stores are well stocked and they also deliver to the door. A little gem, we will definitely be back.

Schöne Lage, toller Blick. Sauberes, schönes Haus, mit allem was man benötigt - gut durchdacht und wir haben wirklich nichts vermisst. Nachteil: Der Müll musste selbst mit dem Auto entsorgt werden. Davon abgesehen, absolut empfehlenswert.

Wonderful stay in Kalami. One of the best VRBO places I have ever stayed in! Joanne was a fabulous host! She provided great local suggestions and detailed driving instructions including photos which were super helpful as we arrived after dark. She also provided a lovely welcome basket. The kitchen is nicely outfitted, with lovely sheets, towels and beach towels provided. The pool on site is great for a dip. Easy walk to town as well as nearby towns for lunch and beach. This place is ideal for 2 couples or a family with 2 children. There is a large terrace off the living room with a table and chairs for breakfast al fresco. Place was even nicer than the photos. I would come back next week!

Delightful. Very comfortable, peaceful place to stay just 5 mins walk down to the lovely quiet Kalami village. There's a lovely pool with sun loungers and parasols and great views over the bay. We had a very relaxing stay and hope to return.

Divine location and excellent host.

This is a lovely small but comfortable cottage overlooking Kalami Bay. The grounds are beautiful, so well maintained and the pool was stunning with plenty of sun beds around it. The walk to the beach was so easy and there are restaurants down there too so we enjoyed walking to dinner a couple of nights. Joanne provided snacks for our arrival which was very welcoming and we were offered a clean half way through our stay. We had a lovely stay.

Joanne is such a great host and the property is in a divine area. We should have arrived 2 weeks later when local tavernas etc would have been open - but then again we might have missed the stunning wild flowers.

The place is a gated complex with its own pool and direct access through the park to the beach street with taverns and the beach. Everything is very well maintained. Access to the house was easy and convenient. Joanne had provided the necessary instructions by email and was available to answer any questions during the stay. The beachfront taverns offered an excellent menu of Greek and Mediterranean dishes.

It's all about the location.

Incredible views of Kalami Bay. The unit and especially the terrace is very private with a large comfortable super king bed. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals (a hob, microwave, kettle and toaster, though no oven). Very friendly hosts and housekeeper, and an amazing pool with loungers. Property also has a shortcut path to the beach which is easily walkable, albeit steep.

Lovely Villa, clean, spacious and the most beautiful views. However you can't get anywhere without a car and the road up to the property is rather treacherous with a number of hairpin turns and sheer drops. You must be a confident, capable driver to fully enjoy this property.

Amazing view. The view is amazing and the property beautiful to a high standard. The road is a little tricky the first few times, but then becomes a lot easier. It's worth it for the view. Service and support throughout the stay was responsive. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Relaxing Corfu villa in a quiet, elevated position. My wife and I were looking for a quiet relaxing holiday and we certainly found that here. Beautifully positioned high up in the hills overlooking Nissaki beach with far views to the south and Corfu town. The owners Jehanne and Mario could not have been more helpful throughout our stay and can be justifiably proud of a wonderfully constructed villa, furnished to a very high standard. Very friendly local people and some great local restaurants, especially Toulas in Agni Bay. If you're looking for peace and quiet and a relaxing stay either on a local beach or the villa's pool, you'll hit the jackpot with this one.

A perfect house with stunning views. We stayed for a week at Jehanne's property in August. From the moment we enquired about the house Jehanne could not have been more helpful. The time, care and attention to detail that has been put into the house is obvious; the beds and linens are of a high standard as are all the bathroom fittings. The kitchen is properly equipped and everything works. We loved sitting at the outside table - the view is stunning. We will definitely be returning; one of the loveliest houses we have stayed in.

Relaxing vacation with a view. We have just returned from a family visit to this beautiful location in Corfu. It is hard to describe the amazing view from the balcony and even the kitchen sink! To be able to sit outside and enjoy the sight of the sea every day was totally relaxing. There was plenty of private space for ourselves and 2 adult children, a fully equipped modern kitchen and good internet. I believe we turned on the TV just once for the news headlines! I hope we have the opportunity to come back in the future.

Imagine it being even better than the photo! When we turned up having used the very detailed and accurate instructions on how to get there, we could not believe the view across the 11km bay to Corfu Town. Nothing in this villa has been crammed in and everything is very well thought out indeed. From the plethora of Miele kitchen items to the five-star hotel type bedding, no expense is spared. You absolutely need a car to get around but that is because of how high up the hillside you are, which is the reason for the almighty view. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa as being an upper-end villa in a stunningly beautiful part of Corfu.

Magnificent in every way. A spectacular villa overlooking the Ionian Sea including panoramic views of Corfu and the most beautiful outdoor eating area we've ever had the joy of experiencing. The villa met all our needs: three magnificent en-suite rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of cupboard space and a great kitchen. We did find the narrow road up to the villa a bit tricky at first but got used to it as our stay progressed. A first class villa and the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable family holiday!

Heavenly! What a house, what a view, what a holiday!!! The house couldn't be more perfect! We arrived to the incredibly beautiful villa which was spotlessly clean and were welcomed with some local produce. The house is perfectly equipped; it is large so there is ample space to sit in different seating areas to capture the staggeringly beautiful views. The beds were huge and super comfy, with ample cupboard space to hide suitcases so you forget you're there on holiday. The house was cleaned and fresh linens provided every few days through our two week stay. Joanne also provided loads of insight to the local areas, recommended restaurants, villages and more. All faultless. Thanks Joanne for making our holiday unforgettable!

Fantastic week in a high quality and tastefully decorated house. We cannot praise this house and our hosts highly enough! The house is very good, with high-quality systems and appliances, and very well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed Corfu a lot - so many things to see, beautiful nature and friendly people. We liked the nearby tavernas and the small grocery shop, with excellent service and friendliness. The view from the house is just spectacular. It is necessary to drive up a winding road but we quickly got used to that. We hope to come back to Corfu again and would love to stay again at this great house. Thank you for a great stay!
